Our Team

Gene Townley founded TNT in 2021 after thirty years of building and selling businesses of his own. He and his wife Wyndee started or acquired fifty-one companies and sold thirty-three of them. Since founding the firm he has sold 113 businesses worth $104 million across 37 states, and the IBBA has named him among the top 1% of business brokers worldwide. He works with owners of companies valued between $1 million and $10 million across the eastern U.S. and the Caribbean.

Wyndee has held a real estate license since 2003 and is the broker of record for TNT’s real estate work in Alabama, and the licensed agent behind every transaction in Florida and Georgia, where state law treats business sales and real estate under the same rules. She keeps the firm compliant, and she and Gene have run businesses together for most of their thirty-one years of marriage.

Zoe writes every Confidential Business Review that leaves the firm. When a seller signs with TNT she is the first call: they go through how the business runs, who depends on it, and what a buyer needs to know, and within a day or two it is written, on the market, and assigned to an account manager. She writes them by hand. Before TNT she spent four years at ITEX, a business-to-business trade exchange. She joined the firm in 2021.

Dorothy Middleton grew up in Baldwin County, Alabama, in a family that was constantly buying, growing, and selling businesses. She holds a degree in criminal justice. As an account manager at TNT, she works with buyers and sellers through the process from first inquiry to closing.
